The Dickinson Theatre Organ Society enjoys a well-known reputation for premier performances presented on an internationally acclaimed instrument.  For over 30 years, DTOS has presented concerts by the finest theatre organists.  The organ itself has evolved from a typical movie house instrument into a complete "unit orchestra," presenting a full palette of sounds the artist may choose as he presents his music.

Each season, DTOS presents several concerts by artists with a variety of styles.  (Please click on the Concert Schedule button  and/or the DTOS Ticket Information button for more information.)  In addition, the organ has been used to accompany the annual presentation of Tschaikovsky's The Nutcracker by the Delaware Dance Company.   Also, DTOS plans other functions including a Daytime Concert, occasional trips, and an Open House. With the Society's assistance, the instrument is often used by other organizations to accompany productions being staged in the auditorium.  Many of the world's best theatre organists have recorded the Dickinson Kimball, and current theatre organ music is available through the DTOS Music Shop. (Please click on the DTOS Music Shop button for more information.)  DTOS publishes a newsletter, The Vox Humana, providing the latest news, concert information and society activities.  To get on our mailing list, go to Contact Us and send us an email.
